Beware of Catholic Charities – 10 Tips for Choosing Christian Charities

Catholic charities are the #1 sponsor of illegal immigration into the USA (and other nations). They have even converted what used to be Catholic churches into Islamic mosques.

Provided in this article is a checklist of 10 things to look for prior to donating. These tips can help you find out if the organization is actually sharing the gospel (or not). Some considerations we may have easily overlooked.  But once we recognize the trickery used by some organizations, we can make more informed choices, especially if we desire for the funds we send to be used to primarily share the gospel with the lost. Living Waters Europe – The Whole Nine Yards

RayComfortIf you listen to most modern preachers, they will tell you how God can help you. He’s your friend and He’s there for your happiness. He has a wonderful plan for your life. However, with a spiraling world economy, the increase in global disasters, wars, unstoppable diseases, massive floods, hurricanes, tornadoes, droughts, tsunamis, and escalating violence, it’s not so easy to make the promise of a bliss-filled future for those who respond to the gospel.

Words mean different things to different people. While some preachers would say that a “wonderful” plan means that God will be with us in the lion’s den, they don’t mention the lions, and so they are disillusioned the first time a lion looks at them as lunch. God isn’t portrayed in Scripture as some sort of divine butler who comes at the beck and call of humanity. There’s no promise of perfect happiness in this life. The Christian life is rather portrayed as the opposite. The Bibles promises tribulation, temptation and persecution for those who live a godly life in this sinful world.

Consequently, skeptics are right when they say that the church is filled with hypocrites—those whose lives don’t reflect what we know they should. And our…

12-hour Prayer Event for the Persecuted Church – Saturday July 29

Why Pray for the Persecuted Church?
Because we love Jesus and we love our persecuted brothers and sisters.  A simple enough answer to a straightforward question.  1 Corinthians 16:13-14 exhorts us to,
••• Be on the alert, stand firm in the faith, act like men. Be strong. Let all that you do be done in love.•••
Those followers of Jesus in nations hostile to the gospel are willing to lay down their lives for Him.  They do so, but not out of obligatory command. These believers are willing to lay all down for Him because they love Him.  They love Him because He loved them first ( 1 John 4:19).
Our persecuted brothers and sisters have had an experience with Jesus.  They have come to realize that Jesus is worth suffering for. They see the incredible love that Jesus showed by His sacrifice for them.  For Jesus…

You Say There’s No God? :: By Donna Wasson – Rapture Ready

Let’s take a break from the daily feast of horrors delivered by the mainstream news media; from the endless parade of murders, terror attacks, war and despair, to take in a little cerebral refreshment, shall we? After all, one can’t continuously consume a diet consisting 100% of pure fiction, political spin, libel, sarcasm, useless speculation, […]

Source: You Say There’s No God? :: By Donna Wasson – Rapture Ready

Dear reader,

As my very first blog post, I would like to share with you some thoughts on “Time” and “Eternity”.

Time ticks away mercilessly.   We get up in the morning and plan all the things we want to accomplish for the day.  But by day’s end  we usually find that things did not go as planned. The unexpected happened and time run out.  All the things we planned to do did not get done. Yikes!

Tomorrow is another day, right?, there is always tomorrow to catch up with what we did not have time to do today.

BUT!  what about moments we can never retrieve?, things  we miss doing today, things  we may not have a “tomorrow” opportunity to do them, what happens then?Ah yes!!, regrets come flooding in, even guilt and always a restless mind.

Allow me dear reader  to share one of my personal regrets.

I did not have time to paint my mother’s nails this particular Saturday when I went to visit her at the nursing home. She wanted to look nice for my step-dad when he came to spend time with her, and so she asked me to paint her finger nails, her hands skinny and bruised from the many needles that had been inserted during her visits  at the hospital. She felt unattractive, some nail polish would make it better.

My husband and I were on our way to a work Christmas dinner that afternoon , so I promised to return the next day and do her nails.

I had my priorities wrong,  very wrong, I thought I had time you see, but  before I returned the next day, my mum went into a coma and a few days after she passed away.

The tomorrow I had promised my mum never came.  You and I only have the present to make the right choices, tomorrow is not  yet ours and yesterday is already too late.

Time is ticking away dear reader. We begin a new year and before we know it we are celebrating Christmas, really???

Time is ticking away, the only time we have to make the right decisions, the right choices is TODAY.  Do not waste your todays, dear one,  they are precious, more precious than gold.  The decisions that you make today can have a tremendous impact in all your tomorrows and all the way to Eternity.

As time ticks away allow me to expand on Eternity.  What is Eternity?, the dictionary on my IPad describes Eternity as “Infinite or unending time”, “Timelessness” and “A state to which time has no application”, in other words, Eternity is forever.

The Bible teaches that we are more than just a human body. It teaches that we are living souls, created by God to live eternally.

Do good people go to Heaven when they die?, If a person dies and truly is a good and righteous person, then he is assured of an eternity in Heaven,  There is just one problem though, the Bible makes it quite clear that there are no inherently good people. In Romans 3:10 we read “THERE IS NONE RIGHTEOUS, NO NOT ONE”.

Really?, there are no good people to be found anywhere you ask?, what about so and so, well by human standards we would be able to find many good people.

The problem though, lies in the fact that God does not judge us by human standards. He judges us by His.  What exactly are those standards you ask?, they are very simply the 10 Commandments. If a person could live by all the 10 Commandments perfectly throughout his life, then he would indeed be a good person by God’s standards and be assured of an eternity in Heaven.

Dear reader God does not overlook our sin, The Bible teaches that the wages of sin is death.  This death is a spiritual death and results in eternal separation from God. Please understand dear reader, that this eternal death is not just missing out on Heaven, it is eternal conscious suffering in a very real place the Bible calls hell. Sin has eternal consequences because it is committed against an eternal God.  Once a person enter hell, there are no second chances, no purgatory,  that persons fate is eternally and tragically sealed.

The good news.

God does not want you to go to hell. He loves you enough to have provided a Way of escape.  His name is Jesus Christ, the only begotten Son of the living God. Jesus came to earth as fully God and fully man, and was the only one to have ever lived a perfect sinless life.  Jesus then willingly laid down His life for us by dying on a Roman cross. He was crucified to pay the penalty of your sins and mine. He became the offering for our sins and therefore satisfied the demands of God’s justice.

On the third day something AMAZING happened. God raised Jesus from the dead. The bodily resurrection testifies to the deity of Jesus.

Jesus and Jesus alone can secure escape from Hell and an eternity in Heaven.

Time is ticking away.

What you decide about Jesus dear one, will determine where you will spend Eternity.  We are forgiven when we realise we are sinners in need of saving.

Are you ready dear reader, to forsake your sins and surrender completely to The Lord Jesus Christ today ?

Time is ticking away.

Do not wait till tomorrow,  you only have TODAY to call on the name of Jesus.

Tomorrow may just be too late.  Time is ticking away.CLOCK

Why Do Christians Worship JESUS CHRIST ?

KNOWING THE TIME, because what's coming matters

~ The original source of the following is unknown. ~

The incomparable CHRIST

More than 2000 years ago there was a man born contrary to the laws of nature.

He laid aside his purple robe for a peasant’s tunic. He was rich, yet for our sake he became poor. This man lived in poverty and was raised in obscurity. He received no formal education and never possessed wealth or widespread influence. He never traveled extensively. He seldom crossed the boundary of the country in which he lived.

But this man’s life has changed the course of history.

In infancy he startled a king. In childhood he amazed religious scholars. In manhood he ruled the course of nature—walked on stormy waves and hushed the raging sea to sleep.

He healed multitudes without medicine and made no charge for his services. He never practiced psychiatry. Yet he has healed more broken hearts than…

“I certainly don’t need to be saved. I’m a good person.”

Have you ever shared the Gospel with a religious unbeliever and they shot back with something along the lines of, “I don’t need to be saved! I think I’m a relatively good person”? An unbeliever, whether religious or not, just does not see their depraved, sinful state and their desperate need of the Savior.

I’ve been slowly reading through Martyn Lloyd-Jones’ “Studies in the Sermon on the Mount.” It’s page after page of blessed teaching on the Lord’s great sermon that many people misunderstand. In the section I read last night, Lloyd-Jones compared the thoughts of the unbeliever with the attitude of a Christian. Here’s just a short excerpt:

“The natural man’s attitude towards morality is generally negative. His concern is that he should not do certain things. He does not want to be dishonest, unjust, or immoral. The Christian’s attitude towards morality is always positive; he hungers and…

At Night…

Akky’s Blog

“By day the Lord commands His steadfast love, and at night his song is with me, a prayer to the God of my life.”
Psalms 42:8 ESV

26z“I reflect at night on who you are, O Lord ; therefore, I obey your instructions”
Psalms 119:55 NLT

I lie awake thinking of you, meditating on you through the night. Because you are my helper, I sing for joy in the shadow of your wings. I cling to you; your strong right hand holds me securely.
Psalms 63:6‭-‬8 NLT

I bless the Lord who gives me counsel; in the night also my heart instructs me. I have set the Lord always before me; because he is at my right hand, I shall not be shaken.
Psalms 16:7‭-‬8 ESV

Dear Lord, we thank you tonight,  for today. No matter what we went through, what things we faced today, we know that you promised…

Citizen Tom

Here we continue the series ARE YOU PRO-ABORTION?. Part 1 answered a question, What Is An Economic Abortion?  Here were consider a second question.

What Is A “Bipartisan Agreement”?

In two previous posts, DEATH THROES OF A DYING REPUBLIC? and A GOOD DEAL?, I complained about the “bipartisan agreement” that Establishment Democrats and Republicans had concocted.

Check out how the rascals use the phrase “bipartisan agreement” => They make the phrase sound like something holy and sacred. In practice, however, whenever someone calls himself “bipartisan”, we need only wonder which band of thieves this guy is with. Whenever Establishment Democrats and Republicans obtain “bipartisan agreement”, that almost always means that they have agreed upon some vampiric scheme to parasitize the US economy for the sake of some of their special interest donors.

We have grown too use to these vampires sucking on us. Even when their schemes involve…

Persecution – Are You of the World?

KNOWING THE TIME, because what's coming matters

Christian Persecution

Do you look like the world and act like the world? There are a lot of Christians who are a part of the world. Truly professing Christ as our Savior is the only way to the Father, but if you are living in unrepentant sin, have you really in your heart given your life over to Christ? As a Christian you seek forgiveness and repentance daily. You strive to do the right thing. You will no longer want to be part of the world. And you do not get to the Father by works; you get to the Father by Jesus.

When the woman was accused of adultery and was going to be stoned, what did Jesus say to her? “And Jesus said to her, ‘Neither do I condemn you; go and sin no more’” (John 8:11).

Without Christ, there is no hope for salvation. We are sinners by nature…

The Roman Colosseum Photo: Wikipedia

By Dan Wooding (Assist News)  The Roman Colosseum will be illuminated by red lights later this month to draw attention to the persecution of Christians around the world, and especially in Syria and Iraq.

On Saturday, Feb. 24, at 6 p.m. the Colosseum will be spotlighted in red, to represent the blood of Christians who have been wounded or lost their lives due to religious persecution, according to Crux.

Simultaneously, in Syria and Iraq, prominent churches will be illuminated with red lights. In Aleppo, the St. Elijah Maronite Cathedral will be lit, and in Mosul, the Church of St. Paul, where this past Dec. 24, the first Mass was celebrated after the city’s liberation from ISIS.

The event, sponsored by Aid to the Church in Need (ACN) — follows a similar initiative last year, which lit-up London’s Parliament building in red…

Earth’s Nuclear Destiny

Terry James Prophecy Line

There is increasing talk lately of fears of nuclear exchange. Critics of increase in nuclear armaments are also ramping up their rhetoric.

Russia has been found to have violated several elements of various nuclear anti-proliferation treaties and agreements. The latest is development of a nuclear-tipped torpedo weapon that can be launched into the shores of a country. North Korea is known to be acquiring  technology that will speed up and greatly enhance their nuclear weapons capability. They are being aided and abetted by the likes of Russia and China, who have promised to act in concert with the international community to prevent  Kim Jong-un from obtaining such technology and material.

Yet with all the illegal weapons procurement by America’s antagonists and enemies, the criticism is of the Trump administration. The diatribe is aimed at the president because he has determined the U.S. must play catch-up in the arena of weapons development. This…
